Dinosaur Rhythms
$2.00
Your dinosaur-loving beginners will love clapping these dinosaur rhythms! Establishing a good sense of beat and rhythm is an important component of music. This is a fun activity to help beginning piano students feel beat and rhythm. As you clap the rhythms and say the dinosaur names, you can point out patterns in the notes. Students can become familiar with quarter notes, eighth notes and half notes. They can practice feeling a steady beat and clapping different rhythms to that beat.
Includes 6 different dinosaur rhythm posters; each poster includes a picture of a dinosaur, a notated rhythm, and the words to say as you clap the rhythm. I like to clap and say the rhythm, then the student repeats. We go through each rhythm, then mix and match.
Studio-licensed digital PDF download, 7 pages.
